Look of the Day: Dressy Athletic Shorts II

I wore these dressy athletic cut shorts earlier this week with a simple baseball tee, and today I chose to showcase them a little differently...a little more formal with a splash of pattern mixing.  In the back of my mind I kept thinking that these would be great to bring on a trip.  I try not to be an overpacker and a versatile piece like these shorts would help remedy that.  They're a wonderful alternative to my jean cut-off shorts that I'm constantly in.  Which look do you prefer?
