B Stole Her Look: Almost Hear You Sigh

Check out my 1st "B Stole Her Look" here.  I adore this chic biker look that I discovered on Pinterest.  It's a "little bit of heaven with a wild side", just like me (haha).  I believe her moto jacket is 3.1 Phillip Lim and of course that gorgeous clutch is Balenciaga.  My budget does not allow me to spend a grand on a clutch but I have plenty of black clutches to choose from, which I discovered from my recent closet cleaning.  We touched on purging your closet of any unnecessary or unworn items to help stay organized in previous posts.  The benefits are many: you'll have the opportunity to donate to those less fortunate, a  mini-sense of accomplishment and you'll be able to see what staple pieces need to be replaced or updated.  Even staple pieces have a shelf life.  After a much needed closet purging of my own I realized that I had enough denim, colorful apparel, bags and shoes!  I was surprised to see that the number of black and white items that I owned were minimal.  It's funny because while I lived in NY I feel like this was the opposite.  Perhaps the California sun had influenced my wardrobe even more than I thought.

Here's my interpretation of the moto chic look from above, the title of course is c/o The Rolling Stones.  This is not my first time wearing a rocker tee in an outfit post, check this one out with Mick Jagger's grill.  However, this is my first time wearing mid-waisted bell bottoms!  They create a curvy figure but lengthen the leg line simultaneously.

Paint It Black Moto Jacket: Nasty Gal (sold out, but once you put your name on the wait list they notify you ASAP.  We will be featuring more moto jacket posts this week), Tee: F21, Denim: 7FAM via Gilt, Jewelry: F21 Collar & Cuff, Lotus Blossom Design Bracelet, Wedges: Madison Harding via Piperlime (old), Clutch: Aldo Shoes (old), Sunglasses: Steve Madden via TJ Maxx

 With Love from SoCal,

XO

  4. love love love everything about this! I want to steal the look B stole! one question about the jeans -- how do you stop yourself from stepping on them? I have a similar pair and the bottoms drag and get dirty or I step on them (and am afraid I'll fall on my arse).

    1. You know my shorty arse always has to have them tailored! I have a lighter pair of bell bottoms that I had hemmed perfectly, just ever so slightly "dust" the floor. So yes, are washed often. The bad boys worn in the look are in my tailor pile...
