Where Has The Time Gone Part 2

Well, I am proud to say I did it! I created a schedule and stuck to it.  I can't lie, it was a little rough in the beginning of the week.  I work best under tight deadlines and pressure, so the concept of having things done early was a little difficult for me to grasp LOL.

Basic Overview:
Let us recap the goals I wanted to accomplish from my earlier post.
1.) I feel more productive and organized
2.) I have more "me” and "family" time and
3.) I am less tired due to being more efficient with my time.

Here is what I did to try and accomplish these goals:

1) I prepped by cleaning and organizing my work space.  I also printed the document from part 1 of this post.  Originally I just included it as just a picture but I found it to be helpful when mixing my 9-5 job and my other business schedule/to do list.  By combining both schedules onto one document I felt more organized.

2) I took a look at the weather for the week and  tried to pick out outfits that might work and had them ready to go.  Now I didn't wear each outfit I picked out (due to changes in my schedule for my after work events, so I choose a different outfit), but I must admit it did save me some time in the morning.  I did the same thing with my workout clothes (one less excuse I could use).

Here are a few of my looks this week.

3) I did add spending time with my loved ones along with my workouts and "me" time to the schedule which forced me to put down the phone and turn the computer off.

I have to say I wasn't more, or less tired but I think if I stuck with this I could honestly see myself being less tired as time went on.

While I would tweak my schedule week to week, preparing on Sundays for the week did help me keep to my schedule.  Just like life there were some hiccups along the way but with everything organized and scheduled out it was much easier to get back on schedule when those hiccups occurred.

With Love From the East Coast,
XO
