Layering in Sequins

Yesterday we showed you two opposite Christmas vacation looks-one for the beach and one for that snow bunny in you.  For those of us who are staying close to home, this is for you!  I would wear Sequins head to toe on any occasion, but that's just me (HaHa I know Ms. East Coast is laughing at me right now).  However, sequins may be scary or too dressy for most people.

I love how sequins is added as just another fabulous layer in the looks below. The first look sandwiches a sequin tank between a classic button up and a jean jacket which manages to dress it down. I love all of the jewels too! If 3 strings of bling are too much for you, stick with the solitaire.

The layered sequin top here accentuates the dressiness of sequins. It's amazing how switching up just the jacket can add sophistication. Pairing the fanciness the top half brings with jeans is key here. I would wear this to a Christmas gathering perhaps that was a little more formal or if I were hosting.
