Learning to Love Me

Why is it we never tend to see what others see in us?  I know that I am guilty of this time and time again but I am proud to say that the older I get the less guilty I have become.  With time and experience as well as being surrounded by people who would rather lift me up then put me down has helped.

Now don't get me wrong, I am far from perfect and still have a little melt down every once in a while (Ladies, you know what I am talking about) but I try to notice the signs before they start.  I thought this picture was perfect at any given time during the day we can feel like any one of these images.

Here are a few of my favorite ways to gain some perspective:

1) When I feel overwhelmed I try to take a step back, take a deep breath and reassess the situation.

2) Get Healthy.  I don't know about you but sticking to my workout routine and healthy eating is not always easy; but it does make me feel better mentally and physically.

3) Look at who is in your circle of influence.  Remove those that cause you physical or emotional harm

We love hearing from you...what do you do to gain perspective?
