Sorry this look of the day is a little later than usual...I wanted to wait to take it until I was ready to go out. Plus, the outfit I wore to work today was super casual and boring. Even though my look looks rather thoughtless and simple, you should have seen the disaster I made as I tried on shirt after shirt. Tonight my coworkers and I are going to Pacific Beach (PB) to celebrate a birthday. I haven't gone out in PB for years now, and this was a huge part of my fashion dilemma. PB is the place for young 20-somethings. So sad I am no longer in that group! It is hot at my house, but much cooler at the beach. This also added to my stress. Plus, my coworkers usually see me pretty buttoned up and professional. Even though I thought about shorts, I went for the jeans. Since PB is very casual, I ditched my dressier tops and opted for a bright tank. The most daring I got was by wearing a black bra underneath. To think, a few years ago I was rocking shirts with an exposed midriff.
Here is a breakdown of my outfit: Tank ($20, Express), dark wash denim jeans with big sailor buttons, ($25, Papaya), Mixed metallic clutch ($15, Closet), gold hoops ($20, Express), and my favorite...gold pendant necklace ($30, Temecula vintage fair- Ms. SoCal to blame).
Nude shoes ($40, BCBGeneration- Marshalls and gold peacock ring ($2, Pink Zone).
